SkidTrack is a special track built on a 50m x 60m flat and hard ground. Participants get the chance to find out about their automobiles on this track.
What is its function?
This training, in which participants take part with their own vehicles, teaches them how ABS works and what functions it has.
At the same time participants learn how to estimate stopping distances when putting on the brake suddenly on wet grounds and learn how to control their vehicles when they come across a sudden danger.
How is it set up?
It is set up in an area closed to traffic. This special track is wrapped with a spool
It is brought in a proper vehicle and then spread out on the ground by experts. It becomes ready to use when water and chemicals are added to it.
“The distance in which you’ll see the pedestrian and stop is 13 meters with 30 km of speed per hour. When you hit that passenger the possibility of death is %10.”
“When you rise the speed up to 50km per hour only the distance of perception is 14 meters, the chance of survival changes between %40-%80”
“And when you hit a pedestrian with a speed more than 70km per hour, his survival would be a miracle."
